These wonderful students in the Lakeview Middle School K-Club raised $200 for the rescues of Heaven Can Wait.

What a wonderful event put on at Bow Wow Beach on September 18, 2011!  Pawfest brought to Heaven Can Wait alot of wonderful visitors, supporters, and even a glimpse of why Heaven Can Wait does what it does.  Pictured above right is "Spencer", and lower right "Jefferson", both Heaven Can Wait death row rescues, who are now with loving owners, as pictured above.  In the middle is adoptable dog "Deliliah", with volunteer Sarah.  The Heaven Can Wait booth featured many items for a donation, with volunteers Diane & Dorene ready to greet you with a smile and assist.

 

 

 

 

 

 

    

 

August 26th marked the ending of "Rockin' on the River" 2011 concert series.  Heaven Can Wait would like to thank promoter Bob Earley for his hospitality at these events, and to the hundreds of supporters who visited the Heaven Can Wait booth!   Funds raised at will help Heaven Can Wait care for the rescues and carry on our mission. 

 

 

 

Heaven Can Wait was the featured Animal Rescue Organization at the August 20, 2011 NEO ROLLER GIRLS bout at the Summit County Fairgrounds Seen here is Roller Girl "Olive Pain", with Heaven Can Wait volunteer Heather, and adoptable dog "Tori".  Many visitors enjoyed supporting Heaven Can Wait at our informational/fundraising table!  Tori even made a friend ... Christian!

 

 

 

 

Heaven Can Wait was the featured dog related organization at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens "Dog Days of Summer" on July 24, 2011.

 

Heaven Can Wait booth at the "2011 Summit County Fair".  We were able to encourage people wanting to adopt a pet to visit the Summit County Animal Control Facility (aka the Pound) to directly save an animal from euthanasia, or consider a Heaven Can Wait one!   We met a lot of very nice people who enjoyed learning of the mission of Heaven Can Wait. 

 

Heaven Can Wait booth at "Rockin on the River" in Cuyahoga Falls on July 15th.  We have the opportunity not only to have information on our adoptable pets, encourage adopting directly from the Summit County Animal Control Facility, raise much needed funds, but also to interact one on one with visitors and supporters! 

 

Earth Fare, in Fairlawn, saw a lot of smiles on July 14th, when they teamed up with Heaven Can Wait on "Family Night"!  Children had the fun of creating a seed cup with Earth Fare, and coloring a dog & cat page with Heaven Can Wait

 

At the left are a few adoptable dogs, and some of the volunteers that were at the fundraiser "Style Mutt", in Rocky River, had for the rescues of Heaven Can Wait on July 10th.   Thank you, Pam, for helping our rescues!

At the right is volunteer Diane, showing some of the beautiful dog scarfs she made for fundraisers for Heaven Can Wait.  Many supporter's dogs are very proud to wear these awesome scarfs!  Be sure to come to one of our events to have the opportunity to get your pooch one & support Heaven Can Wait!

Heaven Can Wait booth at the Cascade Locks "Canal Days Arts Festival",  Saturday, June 18th.  We met alot of very nice people, and gained new supporters.  Pictured here are Heaven Can Wait volunteers Mary Jo and Sarah.

 

Heaven Can Wait at the 2011 WAKR/WONE/WQMX Pet Expo - June 11, 2011

A great pet adoption event hosted by WAKR/WONE/WQMX.  Heaven Can Wait met alot of new people and adopters.  Dick Goddard and even a dog who was adopted two years ago from Heaven Can Wait was at the event.  Little Delilah was a hit in the large crowd.  Thank you Radio City Radio Group for helping the homeless animals!

 

 

Heaven Can Wait was the featured charity at the June 4th NEO Rock 'n Roller Girls roller derby bouts at the Summit County Fairgrounds!  Visitors got to meet adoptable dogs Nacho, Delilah, and Cleo.  Thank you to NEO Rock 'n Roller Girls and to the dedicated volunteers of Heaven Can Wait!

A BIG thank you to the Celtic Club of Ohio for creating and coordinating a pet food drive for rescue animals in Summit, and surrounding counties!  Also, thank you to the Fire Departments, who were collection points, and to the many who donated the pet food and pet supplies.  Heaven Can Wait was blessed to receive some of the collected pet food for our rescues.

This years dogs featured Toby, Gordon, and Homer.  Also participating was McLovin McDougal, a senior Chihuahua, who just loves to walk in parades.

Heaven Can Wait rescues "Nan" and "Guiseppe" visit Hot Dogs for a Cause on June 13th with their new owners.  WNIR Tom Erickson visited the event and shared giving attention to adoptable dog "Gianni" with volunteer Sarah.  Thank you to all who supported this event!

This dog, once caged over 23 hours a day, was adopted.  Now "Sundae" is in a loving forever home, where she will be happy, and loved, especially by Kayleigh.
